The soundtrack has been announced for the new film The Sapphires, and it definitely looks like a winner!
As we expected there are Motown classics sung by Jessica Mauboy, with Lou Bennett, Juanita Tippens and Jade MacRae filling in for the girls. Not to mention the original recordings from Sam & Dave, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Voice star Darren Pervival!

The story follows the groundbreaking '60's indigenous girl group who went to entertain the troops in Vietnam. It stars Deborah Mailman, Jessica Mauboy, Shari Sebbens and Miranda Tapsell, alongside Chris O'Dowd as the talent scout who discovers the four singers.
The film will appear at the Melbourne International Film Festival on August 2 and hit cinemas on August 9. But you can snap up the soundtrack early, on July 29.
