Coachella Announces 2012 Cruise Ship Tour - With Hot Chip And Girl Talk!

This is possible the coolest idea for a festival we've heard in a long time!

Coachella music festival is setting sail this year, and launching a 'cruise ship music festival' with Hot Chip, Pulp and Girl Talk on board!

The S.S Coachella ship will set sail twice, from December 16-19 in the Bahamas, and then again from December 19-23 in Jamaica!

Great locations, hot bands, and a massive hedonistic boat trip -- what could be better?!

The complete line-up for the cruise is Pulp, Hot Chip, Yeasayer, Girl Talk, James Murphy (DJ Set), Sleigh Bells, Simian Mobile, DiscoZ-Trip!!!, Warpaint, DJ Harvey, El-P, Killer Mike, Black Lips, The Gaslamp Killer, Grimes, Cloud Nothings, Jason Bentley, The Rapture (DJ Set), Father John Misty, Tokimonsta and Alf Alpha.

Tickets to this madness are at a conservative $500 a pop.
