Total bombshell revelation this morning -- Kristen Stewart has actually admitted she cheated on her long term boyfriend Robert Pattinson -- with married director Rupert Sanders!

She revealed to People magazine: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected."

"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

While we are a little bit excited that Kristen is finally publicly admitting her love for Rob, but we are also completely scandalised that Kristen actually cheated!

The 22 year old was forced to issue the grovelling apology after Us Weekly published pictures of her "steamy makeout sessions" with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

The photographer who sold the magazine the pics said: "It seemed like they couldn't get enough."

41 year old Rupert Sanders, who is married to model Liberty Ross and has two children, also issued an apology and told People: "I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family."

"My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."
