'Stupid Cops' Win The Amazing Race Australia

The duo dubbed the "stupid cops" were finally able to share the news that they had won The Amazing Race Australia last night -- after a huge eight months of silence!

Victorian police officers Shane Haw and Andrew Thoday admitted it had been really hard keeping their win quiet since it was confirmed at the end of December.

"The guys at work try to trip us up," Andrew said. "They're pretty clever at that, being cops - well, they think they are."

Shane also revealed that the pair were often recognised, particularly when together in uniform.

"Sometimes when (victims) see us they forget all about the burglary because they're too busy asking us about the race."

The duo plan to put the amazing $250,000 prize towards mortgages, holidays and their kids' education... They sound sensible, not stupid to us!
