Whether you love or hate reality talent TV shows, you have to admit they have churned out some of Australia's most popular music personalities!

The X Factor is set to kick off tonight on Channel 7, and we can't wait to see whether Australia's next singing sensation is discovered.

Who's been caught kissing in the Big Brother house?

We know that One Direction came from The X Factor UK, but Australia has four stand out performers in Reece Mastin, Johnny Ruffo, Christina Parie and Altiyan Childs.

Each of whom has a consistent fan base who support them no matter what.

They have each released singles, videos and are still performing around the country.

So will another superstar be uncovered tonight? Or have we seen the best talent that Australia has to offer?
