MTV VMAS 2012 Winners List - Rihanna Scores Best Video!

The MTV Video Music Awards are done and dusted for another year, and Rihanna walked away with top honours.

The 24 year old Bajan babe scored Best Music Video for 'We Found Love' beating out our very own Gotye in the same category, for his super popular 'Somebody That I Used To Know.'

One Direction were the biggest coup of the night, grabbing three awards for most share worthy video, best pop vid and best new artist, all for their clip 'What Makes You Beautiful.'

They also performed their hit 'One Thing' at the awards, to what seemed like hundreds of screaming girls. Even Katy Perry was impressed!

"A massive thank you to every single one of you tonight," Zayn Malik yelled after scooping up the best new artist award.

"To win two VMAs was amazing, three was incredible, to perform was absolutely ridiculous... thank you so much" Harry Styles added.

As always there were some epic performances throughout the night, including P!nk performing 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' and Taylor Swift closing the show with her ultimate breakup anthem 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.'
