Kanye West Scores 17 (Out Of 18) BET Award Nominations!

It’s pretty obvious that Kanye West is going to do well in a ‘Black Entertainment’ category, but this year he’s walked away with nominations in 17 out of the 18 BET awards!

Ludicrous!

The upcoming prizegiving ceremony is just going to end up being Kanye Day, and we’ll have to let him finish every little thing that he wants to say!

Thanks to his smash-hit collaborative album with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne, Kanye's in the running for all the big prizes — Producer of the Year, Director of the Year, Best Live Performance and Hustler of the Year…. Which seems a bit of a bizarre category!

Kanye isn't the only rapper with multiple nominations though, with 2 Chainz and Drake also racked up 13 and 11 nods respectively.

The seventh annual BET Hip-Hop Awards will be held on October 9. With only a small number of artists involved, do they even need the awards? Just puttin’ it out there.
