Josh Moore Leaves Big Brother Australia Due To Family Tragedy

11 October 2012

Contestant Josh Moore has left Big Brother Australia following news of his brother’s sudden death.

28 year old Josh was a much loved member of the Big Brother house this year, and has never been up for nomination. In fact, he was heavily tipped to win the show this year.

Josh was notified of his brother's passing by his parents, who came to the house’s Captain’s Quarters to share the tragic news with him.

After he spent the night with them, he made the decision to leave the show this morning.

Josh’s brother Toby passed away from a suspected heart attack and was his only sibling.

A Channel Nine spokeswoman said ‘The Southern Star production team and the Nine Network wish to express their sympathy to the family and ask fans of Big Brother and the media to allow them privacy at this time."

Our thoughts are with Josh and his family at this difficult time.
