According to recent reports American Idol runner up Adam Lambert has insured his voice – for a whopping $47 Million!
Adam shot to fame on the eighth season of American Idol – and although he was a runner up has gone on to launch a successful music career with two albums behind him, including this years (2012) Trespassing.

And now according to The Sunday Mirror Adam has insured the voice that made him famous around the world – for a very hefty sum!
A source told the paper, “Insurance for stars is a big deal in the US and Adam's voice is his bacon. He had it insured last week.”
While insurance may be common place in the US – the sum that Adam has allegedly insured his for is not! To put things in perspective both Bruce Springsteen and Rod Stewart insured their voices for $6 Million.

However Adam’s sum does pale in comparison to the $70 Million for David Beckham’s legs and the reported $300 Million for Jennifer Lopez’s famous behind!
