Mariah Carey Support Acts Announced For 2013 Australian Tour - Andrew De Silva + Anthony Callea!

12 December 2012

We’ve been so excited to hear that Mariah Carey is coming to town this New Year’s, and now some ripper support acts have been announced to sweeten the deal!

2012 Australia’s Got Talent winner Andrew De Silva will open for the diva on the Sydney and Melbourne shows, and Anthony Callea will open for Brisbane.

Vote for the best video of the 2012 here!

Her hubby Nick Cannon will also do a little opening act across all three gigs… although we’re not really sure what that will entail!

The Aussie performances from Mariah are set to be big, bold and beautiful (just like the singer herself!) with lighting and incredible LED displays.

Steve Scanlon in charge of production has labelled the tour as “one of the biggest shows of the year”.

Sydney and Gold Coast shows have sold out, but final tickets are on sale for Melbourne, added overwhelming demand.

Ash has had some awesome music and artist encounters, listing some of her favourite memories including the world’s most awkward piggy back from Ed Sheeran. She is known for relating to all music talent and just by being her fun, laidback, quirky self. Even 5 Seconds of Summer has asked her to join their band!

Angus O'Loughlin

Angus, brings the charm and tongue-in-cheek flavour to the countries only official countdown – Take 40 with co-host Ash London.

He hangs his hat on doing "real" interviews where he is not afraid to explore anything and everything about the person sitting across from him.

Angus’s passion for music, creative spontaneity and boy-meets-world curiosity sees him as a favourite with the industry, fans, and artists alike; a guy who is just living his dream… and getting paid for it!
