My Kitchen Rules' Jessie And Biswa Get Racially Slurred By Rugby Player Arana Taumata

07 February 2013

Jessie and Biswa from My Kitchen Rules have divided a nation, and left Twitter all a flutter after their departure from the show last night.

The Spice Girls, as they were named, received much criticism during their time on the show for their diva-like antics, ‘b*tchy’ language and strategic (and quite unfair) behaviour towards other contestants.

Not only have they been slammed by many people around the country, but they have also been victims of racist comments and death threats!

Penrith Panthers player Arana Taumata was one of the people caught being racist over the two Indian women, and a tweet he sent out yesterday morning has caused controversy in the Twittershere.

Arana tweeted "Get them two curry munches off #MKR they are just pure annoying now. Making the programme shit. ???????? #MKR."

Penrith Panthers were quick to act on the news their player had posted the tweet with Phil Gould to meet Taumata today to discuss the incident. Taumata also issued an apology on Twitter.

"Just wanna apologise for the remarks I said last night about the two indian ladies on. #MKR If I offended anyone I apologise. #MKR"

It seems Jessie and Biswa have really warmed up MKR! Despite being eliminated last night their names are still trending on Twitter.

Do you think that the Spice Girls should have been sent home last night?
