Adele Slams Chris Brown For Sitting Down During Frank Ocean Standing Ovation

Adele called out Chris Brown at the Grammy Awards yesterday, after he failed to stand up when fellow nominee Frank Ocean won his award.

The British singer cornered Chris just moments after the award was announced, because Chris insisted on sitting down while the rest of the auditorium was in a standing ovation.

Frank Ocean and Brown were both nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album Award, and Chris was definitely a little more than miffed that his rival won.

Viewing the footage below, it doesn't look like Miguel who was also nominated as well stood up either!

Adele’s seat was across the aisle from Chris, and cameras captured her visibly glaring and shaking her head at him as he stayed in his seat. After the award she made her way across to him, and he looked visibly sheepish while he was being scolded. 

It wasn’t just the award that had caused bad blood between them, last month Chris and Frank came to blows when they got into a fight outside a Los Angeles recording studio.

Neither pressed charges but Brown is still on probation for assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009.
