Mel B To Join America's Got Talent - Is She Leaving X Factor Australia?

Spice Girl Mel B (aka Melanie Brown) will be making the trip to LA to join the US hit show ‘America’s Got Talent’!

The ex Spice Girl is no stranger to talent show judging panels, having worked on our own X Factor as well as guest hosted on Britain’s Got talent.

President of NBC Paul Telegdy revealed "I’ve known Melanie since she did Dancing with the Stars, and I’ve known her as a performer of The Spice Girls before that."

Mel B moving back to LA due to visa troubles

Mel B will replace long time judge Sharon Osbourne, who announced she was quitting the series last year.

Sharon is actually rumoured to be appearing on Oz’s reboot of Australia’s Got Talent… so they might be doing the ol’ switcheroo!

So does this mean that Mel B is done with The X Factor in Australia? There were rumours that the singer was having visa troubles in Australia, and that she was moving back to LA.

AGT in the States is filmed over the Australian winter, so she could make it back in time… but we’re a bit sceptical.
