In a recent interview with a U.S.magazine, J. Lo keeps insisting that she's still just plain 'ol 'Jenny from the block'. The singer says the extremely poor lifestyle she experienced growing up, has made sure that she doesn't take anything for granted now that she's rich and famous.
"I did grow up poor, and I did, you know, wear holey sneakers and hand-me-downs, I did sleep in the bed with my two sisters. And now it's different. It's different because I worked hard to get here. And I never take it for granted. I really do realise, like, oh my gosh, I wanted to do this my whole life and now I'm able to do it. It feels amazing, you know what I mean? I'm just worried somebody's gonna wake me".
