Daft Punk Wee Waa After Party Cancelled

07 May 2013

Some bad news for those heading to Wee Waa next week – the Daft Punk album launch after party has been cancelled!

Despite confirming last week that they’d gained the relevant licensing from local council,
after party promoter Weekend Vines have now revealed that they’ve run into some serious complications that have lead them to cancel the weekend long event.

The album launch playback party for ‘Random Access Memories’ will still go ahead as part of the 79th Annual Wee Waa show though.

A post announcing the cancellation of Weekend Vines on the festival’s Facebook page reads:

**BAD NEWS FLASH**

We regret to inform everyone that due to unforeseen circumstances outside our control, we are forced to cancel the Weekend Vines festival in Wee Waa.

We have worked extremely hard on this project for the last 3 weeks but we were told one thing and then another a number of times. In light of this new information we have no choice but to cancel. We hung our balls out there, but unfortunately on this occasion it just wasn’t meant to be.

We are extremely sorry for all those that made plans to come to the festival and for those that have bought tickets. Ticket holders will be notified shortly and refunds issued.

Please email us on info@weekendvines.com if you have any questions.

The two-day after party camping festival held at the Seplin Estate Winery was to feature a host of local and international DJs.
