Chris Martin Faces Court Charges

Oopsy. Chris Martin got himself into a wee bit of trouble over the weekend in Byron Bay.

The Coldplay frontman, who is touring Oz at the moment with his band, has been ordered to appear in court after he smashed in the windscreen of a vehicle belonging to a press photographer.

According to reports, Chris objected to having his photo taken whilst enjoying a private surf on one of Byron Bay's secluded beaches. So much so, that when the photographer in question refused to delete the images of the singer from his digital camera, Chris grabbed a rock and smashed the journo's windscreen!

Chris will be back in Oz later this year to face charges of malicious intent, in Byron Bay Local Court on October 8.
