Beyonce To Premiere New Track Rise Up Co Written By Sia Furler For Upcoming Film Epic

Beyonce has confirmed that she will be unveiling another new track this month (May) called Rise Up – which will feature on the soundtrack to the upcoming animated flick Epic.

Bey will also star in the film alongside Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Christoph Waltz and Steven Tyler.

In the film, Beyonce fittingly provides the voice of character Queen Tara who is the leader of a magical world.

The track was co-written by Beyonce alongside Australian songwriter Sia Furler and produced by Hit-Boy and Chase N Chase according to the Wall Street Journal.

This isn’t the first track the pair have worked on either.

Sia tweeted on April 25, “Beyonce as Mrs. Carter in H&M – dreams do come true!! My queen @beyonce singing a song I wrote with @GregKurstin”.

Beyonce who is currently wrapping up the UK leg of her Mrs Carter Show world tour this week - has previously teased singles Grown Woman and Standing On The Sun'which are all expected to appear on her upcoming fifth solo album.

Epic will be released in cinemas across the world from May 24 – check out the trailer below!
