It's comforting to know that everyone suffers from the odd 'bad hair day'. . .even celebrities!

Back in his uni days, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was looking far from being the hot-to-trot rock star he is today, adopting instead his 'geeky ancient history student' persona.

One of Martin's former classmates said, "He was a bit odd. He never got drunk, never smoked weed and never had any girlfriends. We thought he was funny."

And with a flourishing music career and a gorgeous Hollywood girlfriend, who's having the last laugh now?!
