Singing the song ‘made for him’ Taylor Henderson is next to take the stage with his rendition of Passenger’s Let Her Go.
Nat was so wowed by the performance that she said she felt like he was one of the guest performers, while Dannii said that his vocal was gorgeous but that he needs to work on connecting with the audience.
Joelle follows Taylor with a cheeky performance of Pink’s True Love – a track that RedFoo feels shows the real Joelle.
The song choice however doesn’t go down well with Ronan who says that Joelle ‘coasted’ through the performance – adding that he thinks there may be something wrong with the dynamic between RedFoo and Joelle! A ‘steaming’ RedFoo fires back saying that they have never worked better on a track and that she was perfect in her performance.
After an emotional week for Jai – the youngest singer in the comp soars with a gorgeous rendition of Bruno Mars’ It Will Rain.
After tough comments last week both Dannii and Nat are back on board saying that it was his best performance yet, while a beaming Ronan tells Jai that he admires him for delivering such a flawless performance after a tough week.
A fierce looking Jiordan Tolli tried something different on for size this week with Ellie Goulding’s epic hit Burn.
Ronan called the performance ‘very cool’ but warned her to watch her high notes, while Nat said she loved the ‘theatricality’ of it.
Third D3gree also changed direction this week – taking on emotionally draining track Love The Way You Lie by Eminem feat. Rihanna.
Not impressed with the change up the judges came out swinging with Dannii pulling Kelebek up on missing the beat for her rap, while RedFoo blamed Nat for a bad song choice saying it ‘exposed’ the group.
Omar Dean was up next with Demi Lovato’s soaring hit Skyscraper – using his flawless falsetto to full effect!
Dannii said she was happy that he took the risk of taking on Demi Lovato – while Nat said that there were some moments that didn’t work technically, but others that were beautiful.
The night ended with clear favourite Dami Im, tackling one of the hottest tracks at the moment with Katy Perry’s Roar.
It was her first try at pop – and with her usual finesse she pulled off the performance, earning her fourth standing ovation! RedFoo simply said ‘she did it again’, while Ronan called the performance ‘ridiculous’ and thanked her for coming on the show.
