The X Factor Australia Recap - Jiordan Tolli Sent Home After Facing Off With Third D3gree!

14 October 2013

Tonight on The X Factor Australia the competition will see the top 12 whittled down to the top four – with the final now just around the corner!

After a night of Australian hits on Sunday (13 October) that saw firm favourite Dami Im falter for the first time – it really is anyone’s guess who will be leaving the show tonight.

The top 5 opened the show with UK X Factor winner James Arthur’s smash hit Impossible – with their passionate performance bringing all four judges to their feet.

Before we get to the business end of the show – Havana Brown takes to the stage in a cage for her new single Warrior.

Wearing a minuscule outfit that would make Miley Cyrus proud and thigh high black boots – Havana certainly brought the temperature up onstage with her fierce dancing and steam guns!

After the heat of Havana’s performance we are instantly transported into the tense announcement of the bottom two – which is revealed as Jiordan Tolli and Third D3gree.

Then it was onto James Arthur himself to rock the X Factor stage with his soulful new track You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You.

And we tell you what – this guy can SING.

Jiordan Tolli is the first to take to the stage to sing for her life, putting her spin on Lana Del Rey’s Young and Beautiful – the perfect song for her beautiful tone.

Third D3gree go for the funk factor with their rendition of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Thrift Shop – with the unique threesome once again playing to their individual strengths.

RedFoo unsurprisingly puts his vote with Third D3gree, with a ‘torn’ Dannii sending Jiordan home. Nat Bass also sticks with her act putting her vote towards Jiordan, leaving the decision to Ronan.

After struggling with his decision, Ronan decides to throw it to the public vote – with Australia voting for Jiordan to be sent home.

Was the right decision made?
