Chris Bails Out On Court

Chris Martin has been trying to convince NSW police to drop a criminal charge against him, for "allegedly" attacking a photographer's four-wheel-drive in Byron Bay earlier this year.

During Coldplay's tour of Oz in July, Martin was spotted surfing with friends at Seven Mile Beach near Byron Bay, and apparently lost his temper at a freelance photographer who was taking his picture.

When the photographer refused to delete the images form his camera, Martin apparently used a rock to crack the windscreen of the photographer's car.

A Lismore lawyer, Megan Cusack, attended a court hearing in Byron Bay earlier this week on behalf of the singer. No word as of yet if Martin will have to attend.
