Americans Petition To Get Justin Bieber Deported

28 January 2014

Thousands of Americans have signed a petition calling for Justin Bieber to be deported, following his arrest last week.

The teen star was arrested on January 23rd, and was charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest without violence and driving without a valid licence in Miami.

Now it seems his latest behaviour is losing him fans across America, with a petition launched on Whitehouse.org aimed at Barack Obama.

It states, "We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked.

"He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation's youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society."

The campaign has gained over 40,000 signatures so far, but must reach 100,000 before White House staff will agree to review it and  ensure it's sent to the appropriate policy experts".

17 additional petitions asking for Justin to be deported have also appeared online.
