Shotgun Wedding For Chris & Gwyn

What a week of news it has been from Chris Martin, singer of Coldplay and actor Gwyneth Paltrow. First we heard that they are expecting a child next April and now it appears that they have gone and got married.

Apparently, the couple married six days ago in California with no friends or family present. The 10 minute ceremony took place at a ranch in Santa Barbara. The original wedding plan was on a much larger scale, with a romantic New Years Eve gala which was to include Madonna as the maid of honour, but all that has now been ditched for a quickie followed by a holiday in Mexico.
