Jessica and Nick to Adopt

Jessica Simpson and hubby Nick Lachey are reportedly planning on adopting a baby.

The couple are aiming to adopt a child within the next 12 months, with Jessica hinting at the possibility of them taking in a Mexican child.

She said of plans to adopt a Mexican baby: "That's what I wanted for my birthday but I couldn't legally get a baby across the Mexican border."

She added: "I'll end up doing something which will touch somebody in some way that's good...through orphanages."
