Chris Martin is a 'Plant Pot'

Has Liam Gallagher lost his abusive touch?! The original Lord of the Insult has been up to his old tricks again at an awards ceremony in London this week. The source of Liam's anger this time was mild-mannered Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Amazingly though, it was Mr Martin who started the whole ruckus.

Having finished giving a speech at the awards Martin joked about having to lower the microphone for the pint sized Gallagher to speak. This was more than enough of an excuse for Liam to shoot off a few verbal rockets from his table. "Come on, have a pop," yelled the angry Gallagher brother. "You're a plant pot."

Yep, that's right a plant pot!? We are still trying to work out just what exactly is insulting about being called a plant pot! Maybe it's not an insult at all. Liam did go on to say later, "Actually, I much prefer Chris Martin to Robbie Williams. He's just a bit serious that's all. He needs to lighten up a bit."
