Mariah vs. Fiddy!

Mariah Carey, 2005’s most awesome comeback kid, closely trails 50 Cent for the number one highest selling American album of the year. The Emancipation of Mimi is said to have sold over 4.6 million copies now since it’s release in April.

This from a lady who was paid $30 million by her former record label EMI to finish her contract with them early, only four years ago.

Not only has the Emancipation of Mimi racked up massive album sales but it has also accrued an amazing eight Grammy award nominations.

Fiddy’s album ‘The Massacre’ is currently the American highest selling album of the year with over 4.8 million copies sold so far! There’s still a few days to go though!
