Reports of their demise have been greatly exaggerated.
Oasis have announced plans to release a new album mid-2002. The working title is 'Heathen Chemistry'.
The talk was that the Gallagher boys would be going head-to-ahead again with their old rivals Blur, but sources say that Blur are unlikely to release a new album this year because Damon is concentrating on his side project, Gorillaz.
